The first team has now played 2 of their 3 games in the Divisional Cup. The results in tis competition are based on total number of points score on the night, not on games.
The first game was a 377-256 win against Rushbury A and the second was a win against Gains Park B by 386 to 271.
The second team's first game has been re-arranged to 30th October and is against Unison. Their second game is against Rushbury C on 3rd November.
The league have recently released the fixtures for the coming season. There will be 3 divisions again, but there is also a divisional cup played at the beginning of the season.
Church Stretton will be entering 2 teams into the league, in just their 3rd year, showing that the club is showing its growth potential.
Church Stretton ensured their place in Division 1 again next season by defeating Tilstock 6-4.
Four wins from their last 5 games means that they will finish in 5th place in the league.
Church Stretton recorded another win last night away at Pontesbury by 6-4.
Their run of good form continues, winning 3 out their last 4 matches.
Next up is the last match of the season against Tilstock at home. The match takes place this Monday, 10th March, at Ticklerton.
The league team won their second successive match tonight against Gains Park A. The score was 7-3.
The dates for practise for Thursdays and Saturdays have been added to the "Schedule" page.
On Saturdays we will practise at Clungunford, when Silvester Horne is unavailable.
Church Stretton lost their first league match of 2025 at home to Shrewsbury Cricket Club 4-6.

A hard-fought match against Tilstock saw the points shared, with the teams drawing 5-5.
The season is now half way through and the fixtures are all reversed, starting on Monday 13th January 2025 against Shrewsbury Cricket Club.
A close fought match against Gains Park B on Monday night saw the team lose 4-6, at Ticklerton.
We now have a break of 2 weeks without any matches.
Church Stretton were defeated 6-4 tonight away at Gains Park.

Tonight we will be welcoming players from Brown Clee TTC to our practice session at Silvester Horne.
The session is from 6-8pm and anybody is welcome to come along.
We will be competing in Division 1 again this season. The committee have decided not to take the place in the Premier League, due to losing one of our key players.
The League's AGM and Presentation night took place this evening andwe were presented with a shield and individual trophies for coming runners up in Division 1.
